Party Sign wins Palm Hot Apps Award

Party Sign was one of the winners of the Palm Hot Apps award. Thank you to everyone that downloaded the app to help make this possible.

Party Sign 1.6.0 Released

The latest version of Party Sign has been released on the Palm App Catalog and contain these new feateures:

  • Color selection shows sample color and emoticons selection also shows sample emoticon.

  • App menu now features “Backup” and “Restore” under “Tools.” This new feature will allow the user to backup the messages to (and restore from) their Google account. If the user does not have a Google account, there is an option to send the backup to themselves via email.
  • Edit messages now uses multi-line mode (larger text area) for editing longer messages.

Party Sign 1.5.2 Available For Download

The latest version of Party Sign is now available in the Palm App Catalog and the catalog is also working properly again as of 8pm PST on Sprint.

The new features in this version are:

  • Added bold and underline in Edit screen. To use, highlight one or more words by holding the Caps key and touching the word. Next, touch the “B” for bold or “U” for underline. To un-bold or remove underline, repeat the process.
  • After touch dragging, the scrolling will now stop and allow the user to position the text. To resume scrolling, flick the screen quickly.
  • New emoticon :angel added.

Party Sign 1.5.1 Fixes Discussion

Party Sign version 1.5.1 is in the Palm App Catalog for download. Please update your copy to this version to fix the discussion section of the app.

As an added bonus, you also get :miltime for military time and :date for date (MM/DD/YYYY).  If you want day first use :dateeuro (DD/MM/YYYY) or for year first, use :dateyear (YYYY-MM-DD).

Party Sign to Get Upgrade To 1.5.1

It may seem hard to believe but for the last 90 or so days, the Discussion comment submission in Party Sign has not been working properly. That’s the bad news. The good news is, all the comments that were submitted were recovered and have been restored. There are now over 400 comments, which can be viewed here:

Simply scroll down to the bottom of the page above to see all 400+ comments that were initially lost.

The fix for this bug will be in Party Sign 1.5.1 which will be released shortly. When it appears in the Palm App Catalog, please download the new version so that you will be able to submit new comments, as well as look at older comments.

This same upgrade will be included in Lunar Attack in the next release as well.

Party Sign 1.5.0 Released

The new version of Party Sign has been released to the Palm App Catalog as of today. This has the following new features and bug fixes:

Remove emoticon button added to edit screen to remove emoticons from message.

“Set To Default” option added to app menu to allow user to select messages to set to default settings from Preference screen.

Bug fixes:

  • Message with only emoticons are now centered correctly vertically for all sizes.
  • Using app menu while editing message works properly.

Lunar Attack 1.1.4 in Palm Catalog

Lunar Attack version 1.1.4 is now in the Palm Catalog and is also now available in other countries outside the U.S.

The latest version of Party Sign is now in the Palm Catalog. Be sure to download it for the new features.

Party Sign 1.3.0 released

Party Sign 1.3.0 is now in the Palm App Catalog. This version fixes some problems with compatibility with WebOS 1.4 as well as a few new features and a few emoticons.

With this version, if you use the “Quick Add,” your message will scroll as soon as you “Save.” This saves one step when you are really in a hurry.

Lunar Attack 1.1.2 Released

Lunar Attack 1.1.2 has been released on the Palm App Catalog with the following updates:

  • Added “Check for Updates” in Help.
